Hooker Furniture Family Of Brands
In 2007, Sam Moore was acquired by Martinsville, VA based Hooker Furniture, one of the largest and most respected furniture companies founded in 1924. Just like Sam Moore, Hooker Furniture is known for quality furnishings of exceptional value.
In addition to our commitment to create beautiful quality furniture, we are also committed to giving back to our community. A few years ago, we formed "The Giving Back Team" at Sam Moore to encourage involvement in the local community. Together, we have served nursing homes, the Bedford County Group Homes for Troubled Teens, local schools and the Bedford County Christmas Station for underprivileged families. Reaching beyond our immediate community, we have contributed food and supplies to tornado victims in Pulaski, Va. and donated money to the Haiti earthquake victims. We also participate in the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life every year.
