The Sam Moore factory and corporate offices are surrounded by the green, tranquil foothills of Southern Virginia and the close-knit community of Bedford.

As beautiful as our surroundings are, inside Sam Moore headquarters is an even greater treasure: 225 employees who are personally invested in their jobs. For our employees, success is defined simply: a happy customer. Deborah Updike, our senior manager for customer care, puts it this way, "Everyone here takes their job personally. Each one invests themselves into making the customer happy."

Our 300,000 square foot facility is a balanced blend of state-of-the-art technology and hand craftsmanship. Our craftsmen and women include upholsterers, sewers, inspectors, button makers and finishers. Others manage high-tech machinery and computers for operations like routing, scheduling and cutting intricate fabric and leather patterns.

Currently, a half dozen of our employees have tenure of 40 years or more, while the average tenure at Sam Moore is 20 years.
